DBT Emotional Regulation Concussion Scale
Emotional dysregulation is a common but often overlooked symptom of both post-concussion syndrome and ADHD. Individuals may experience increased irritability, heightened stress responses, rapid mood changes, and difficulty calming down after emotional triggers. These changes are often linked to disruptions in brain regulation, executive functioning, and nervous system balance. This DBT-informed Emotional Regulation Scale is designed to help identify patterns in emotional reactivity, track symptom severity, and support the use of evidence-based skills such as PAUSE and Wise Mind to improve emotional control.
