Self‑validation, Self‑esteem & Self‑efficacy Worksheet

How to Use This Worksheet

This worksheet is designed to help you strengthen self-validation, build self-esteem, and increase self-efficacy through small, daily actions. Please complete the sections thoughtfully and at your own pace.
1️⃣ Quick Guide
Review the brief descriptions of self-validation, self-esteem, and self-efficacy to understand how each skill supports your well-being.
2️⃣ “I am proud of myself because…”
Write one specific thing each day that you did (not just a trait you have). Focus on effort, courage, and progress — not perfection.
3️⃣ Self-Validation Practice
Use this section when you are experiencing a strong emotion.
• Describe what happened
• Name how you feel
• Write a validating statement (why your feelings make sense)
• Choose a small, kind action you can take to support yourself
4️⃣ Self-Esteem Builder
List your strengths and values, then choose one tiny action today that aligns with what matters to you.
5️⃣ Self-Efficacy Ladder
Pick a small goal, break it into tiny steps, and track your confidence before and after taking action. Progress builds confidence.
6️⃣ Daily Practice Plan
Choose up to three small, actionable steps for today. Check them off when done to reinforce success.

✅ Remember:
Growth happens through consistent tiny steps, self-kindness, and noticing what you are doing well.
Use the phrase every day:
“I am proud of myself because…”
